Yes, it is 'TKS 33 SA 986' (Kanri number 8D-424) which was driven by Tony Fall on the 1971 Monte Carlo Rallye, later purchased by Rob Janssen of Holland who used it for some circuit racing before putting it on local registration '67-54-RU' and taking part in the 1971 RAC Rally. It eventually became a road car...

@Rob Gaskin You had this car come past you a couple of times on the '71 RAC and you took some photos.

The car is now in San Francisco, USA and is due to undergo a sympathetic restoration to its '71 Monte spec.

Alan

would you know why the rally car above has solid rear wings, yet the road going Z432/R cars of the same year had the vented rear wings.

Thanks
Steve

In fact, the rear quarters of the 432-Rs (and all Japanese market variants up to the changeover to vented quarters) were solid, non-vented type.

You might be seeing the early, round, Japanese market 'Z' script quarter emblems and confusing them with the universal (all markets) vented type 'Z' script quarter emblems? From a distance it can be hard to see the difference.

Here's what the early Japanese market non-vented 'Z' quarter emblem looks like:
