15x9 et 0 will it fit a 240z ?

If they are 0 offset then ill go for 15x9s with a bit of a stretch on a 205.

The 225's I ran looked pretty stretched when they where on and the place that fitted them advised me that they weren't really suitable for a 9" rim and I should fit a 245 tyre

The offset doesn't change the width of the rim

but yeah, they look they have a positive offset from the picture

Yeah, that's what I mean; I thought you were responding to the tyre stretch when you posted "They can't be 0's then".

Either way I don't think 9j et 0 with 225 or above would fit.

Not sure of the offset of the enkei 15 x 9's but they fit under std arch perfect with 225 50 15 tyres with 2 1/4 springs, the 8 x 15 don't fit proper cause they have the wrong offset.

Sorry but that is a generalisation:unsure:...I have 8x15 enkei that will fit:smash:

The issue isn't 8 or 9j but all about offset as I can show you 7j wheels that will not fit because they have extreme negative offset.

The way I see it is if someone has managed to fit 8j zero offset with 205 rubber and have no issues' then the 9j will sit 1/2 prouder on each end. Is there 1/2" back spacing left to accommodate deeper wheel? On non zed datuns that have IRS one has to notch the trailing arm by a few mm if using 9j zero offset or use 3mm spacer.

On the arch side will this extra 1/2" make a difference given that the tyre section will till be 205 and hence stretch inwards as it approaches the thread? Are you willing to roll the arches if need be or use rock hard suspension that limits travel?

I have a set of 8x15 with -ve 15 or is it 20 offset with 195/50/15 rubber if you want to test once you done the math on how close these are to your desired wheel. I m not a million miles away;)

I have 15x8 ET0 with 225 on a 240 that are tight on the wheel arches (rolling edge at rear + front valence clearance for cornering) and close from springs

in my opinion, 15x9 ET0 does not fit without arches extension and check for spring side

hope that helps

with 205 tyres, perhaps arches will fit because 20mm of strech for each side (even if that is dangerous in my opinion) but I am still upset for whell lips and spring clearance.

i am fairly sure that you need to have a backspace no more than about 120mm ,other factors are spring seat height difference between UK and USA spec car and if the car is lowered.

simler question: will 15x9 et0 with 225/50 work on standard springs ?
iv 15x8 et0 wheels with 225/50 tyres and seems to be a little space left

I think he's running coilovers so it should clear anything on the strut

Which would imply a lowered car so never mind the struts - think of the wheelarches.:)

Also, if we're talking of the same size wheel allround, think of the clearence on the front arches when turning.;)
