This is a 1981 Datsun 280ZX 2+2 5 speed with 89,000 original documented miles and original black paint with gold trim.

Tan leather interior with all power options and air con.

This is a slick top car with NO T-Tops.

Just passed strict Cali emissions requirements testing so we know the engine is top notch.

Runs and drives beautifully with lots of power.

I purchased from the 2nd owner

Has original owners manual

Paperwork back to 1983 showing mileage on vehicle.

Has a couple of small areas of rust on body which are visible in the photos. A few small rust areas around the front windshield where the paint has chipped off, small area of bubbling on one rear quarter and very small area on one dog leg. I can circle them later in yellow if pictures are not adequate.

Car goes in to detail shop next week.

Price is £2,400

As usual, I will load the car with any parts that you may want to save on shipping.

Nobody seems to love 2+2s and even less the non T-tops......I prefer the more in-proportion shape of this to the two seaters and airco is a great alternative to the t-tops.

Nice find - what will be done in the detail shop ?

The 260z must be similarly finished by now, surely Derrick?

Is this one of the limited edition 10th anniversary ones as the black and gold and leather interior are pointing in that direction but too much black and not enough gold. I know that there were only 500 done with the red leather interior but they were black and red. Where is Albrecht when you need him?

Don"t need him and he's S30s anyway !

The special editions to which you're referring were only ever 2x seaters with T-top.

The drive train alone has to be worth close to that.

Cheers,

Mike
