Great work Ian, I'm looking forward to this taking shape!

Just spotted an early 1970 240z for sale here in Ireland. I've never seen or even heard about this car before but looks to be in good shape from the pics. Fully restored Datsun 240z For Sale in Dublin : €18,000 - DoneDeal.ie

I'm afraid there are no irish parts suppliers, the nearest would be mike in MJP in the UK. I got wheels from image in the UK also, they will pretty much make whatever size offset you want. What's your plans for it? Colour etc? I don't want a twin :p

He bought the car from the UK a few years ago, I know all the suspension has all been fully polly bushed etc. it's a good solid base for a project.

I hope they're not my plug leads he's after giving away :D

I have a B&M shifter in my s14a box and find it very good indeed.

Oh I get ya now!!! Well im afraid im no help to you because im HOPELESS at wiring!

Is that safe? I mean would you not run the risk of overheating if say the temp guage failed or you simply forgot to check the guage?

Just to let you all know that I got the fans working, yellow wires to C done the trick. Now on to engine problems:beatdeadhorse::beatdeadhorse::

Thanks for the help...........between your post and morbias im sure ill get it sorted. Im going to try connect the yellow wires to the C connection on the temp control fan and the 2 connection to the battery, If that doesnt work ill disconnect the relays and just try using the temp control...
