Really enjoyed it on Saturday, especially the pre war Grand Prix cars, and also chatting to people I had not met before. A very impressive selection of Z's. Would post some pictures if I knew how to do it!

I,m with Carole Nash for my 240Z. About £150 a year with UK and European breakdown cover, 5000 mile limit. Mind you I am 69!

How do you convert to amber lenses?

I tried that too, only comes out so far then is held by the heater control cables which you can't get to, even when the radio is removed. Gave up

It helps if you've got long, thin fingers with 2 universal joints in them!

He's had a bid on it which was declined, probably only a tenner though!

Totally agree, never bother to try between oil changes it doesn't use any anyway.

Really annoys me when I go to a show and someone inevitably says "these were rust buckets weren't they" Having been in the motor trade for over 50 years I can't really think of a car from the 70's that didn't rust

After about 6 months finally got round to it! Couldn't understand why it lost power when the heater was connected, it turns out it was dirty contacts in the HRW switch, took it apart, cleaned everything up and, hey presto, now works fine

Made it up, the instructions and wiring disgram are on here somewhere

Just had the headlamp relay conversion carried out on my 240Z and the difference is unbelievable. I had this done to take the load off the switch but had read that this also resulted in more power to the lights but didn't realise how much. I have owned the car for 6 years and have always...

After 40 years ticking away my clock has stopped working. I want to take it out and have a fiddle but how do you remove it ('72 240Z)

Pretty sure it's the switch. There is a relay conversion (somewhere on here) which takes the load off the switch and also gives full voltage to the lights. Well worth doing as switches are no longer available new
