280z On UK Roads - Brake Lights

To change mine I used very hot tap water (I also washed the years of dirt off inside and out whilst at it) This made it really easy to take off the lens. I then used a sturdy flat blade screwdriver whilst it was still hot to get out the excess left in the fitting. I used white tiger grip to...

280z On UK Roads - Brake Lights

Hi, assuming you mean indicators ? The lens would still show a red indicator even with the orange bulb, potentially not enough of a colour change. I found these: https://klearz.com/products/datsun/280z/280z_lower_tails Hope it helps 🙂

I didnt think the thickness would stop the intake, so I havent allowed for that. Was it the physical pipe to intake? Or the fixing points at the gasket? I'll be checking on Sunday, will report back 👍🏼

    Here we go.... 76 280z rebuild/restomod

I used Pitking, only based on reviews though. I found it a good thickness and flexibility to allow the tight corners to be a little easier to not have saggy bits. From my recent experience I wouldn't want to do it attached to the block. I used a lot of swears as it was on a carpet in the...

    Here we go.... 76 280z rebuild/restomod

Finished wrapping the Z story header, I was looking at ceramic coating, with delays I really want to run the car from April time. Also whilst it looks tidy, I think the wrapping will give a better heat reduction in the engine bay.

What did you do to your Z this week?

They look awesome! Some lovely new additions for yours!. Is that a vacuum pump I can see in the wheel arch? I am in two minds as to whether I need one.. can i ask what made you decide on one and does it solely drive vacuum to brake and heater controls.. thanks

New year...time to get things moving

When I had my cam made they suggested the lifters should be changed/re worked. I am not an engine guru but they wouldnt do the cam without it and only £12 each so certainly didnt do it for revenue..
