Hi all, has anyone replaced their fuel lines, while the car is complete ?. .ie prop shaft, engine, gearbox etc still inplace ?.. Also making and terminating the lines themselves ? I have access to a lift, so I can get access underneath easily. Any advice welcome, Thanks all, G

Hi all, using a hoist and load leveller, is it ok to connect one of the two hoist list points to the rear most exhaust stud (with the exhaust still fitted) ?....the stud is probably 3/4" exposed beyond the nut.. I have a mounting spot just behind the fuel pump for the front mounting... '73...

As above, going to look at balancing and adjusting mixture on my Japan SU carbs...what's the easiest way of disconnecting the linkage between the two carbs ? cheers.

Having had enough of annoying shudder on my front discs...which are an upgrade (solid disc) done by the previous owner..(callipers/discs etc) I looked around for disc skimming services.....I assumed as per back in 'the day' the skimming takes place one 'loose' discs....but I found that 'on car'...

Spotted these wiper refill blades in Halfords...they appear to fit just fine...just in case anyone is looking or a quick (and cheap !) refresh. there is a 'pair' in the box...not sure why it says 'single' ...

Hi, I'm going to be fitting new engine support mounts to my 240z....so need to support the engine...I know its not ideal, but has anyone use a jack and a plank of wood under the sump to support the engine? ....or has it ended in disaster :oops: cheers Graham

Hi, while the engine feels very stable, are these mounts past their best ?..... Assume I can jack the engine up (can I do that under the sump with a wood spreader ?) to change them ... Any recommendations as to what to change to ?.....stay with the OE rubber type or something more modern polly...
