    RIP Mike Feeney

Absolutely stunned and saddened to hear of his early passing. I saw it on a drag race site on f / b yesterday. I first met him in summer 86, when I bought my first Z ( VPK 426M a silver 260Z ) I needed some parts for it, so my ex wife and I drove over to his house @ Basildon. I can still...

    VPK 426M Silver 260Z - 2 Seater

As above, sold her in early 97, to an F.Aitken of Horsham Surrey. He re painted her red sadly..... In Sept 95, I was on the Eastern Avenue in Redbridge, in my silver R5 GT Turbo G577 XOO when VPK blasted by on the other carriageway. I turned and gave chase, but lost her in traffic..... Could...

Hi Graham, are you Horsham based ? I sold my silver 260Z to a guy in Horsham in 87 and he re painted it red. Does it ring a bell ? Last taxed in 95.

Twin Webbers - Worth Having ?

And re triple Webbers, for a fast road and also a race six cylinder E Type, triple SUs are recommended and not triple Webbers. My old S.1 E Type didn't perform any better on Webers than it did on its triple SUs, it just used more fuel. Yes, they sound and look great, but triple webbers and...

Twin Webbers - Worth Having ?

Yes Rob, exactly ! The twin downdraft Webbers that are oft seen on US cars. I am assuming that these were supplied by maybe Amco in the States, as an upgrade to the smog carbs on the 260 Z and maybe to replace the injection system on the 280Z ??

BMW CSL in need of Resto.

I know this Polaris silver 3.0CSL well. It is one of just 500 UK RHD cars, built for Britain only. And one of about 270 odd survivors that we have so far found. The CSLs June 73 list price was a staggering £7,399 a Huge sum of money back then, but most were sold @ a discount to shift them...

    VPK 426M - Silver then Red 260Z

Yes Sean, I got circa £800 for the 260 and I paid about the same for the 72 TR6 from a pal. Zs were £ cheap then. Sold the TR in summer 88 for £3,500, so it was a very good deal @ the time. But by the time the TR had sold, the lovely Fjord CSL in Chelsea, for £4,500, had been sold, choked !
