Trying to improve upon my 240’s steering, especially over bumpy surfaces.
Apex front arms, lowered on BC’s, roll centre spacers. But now the geometry of both the inner rod & outer tie rod is incorrect in relation to the lower arm?
Am I correct in thinking the inner tie rod should never angle...
LS1, T56, 3.54 long nose R200. It’s perfect, drives like a normal factory car, probably because it’s almost the same as the Corvette / Camaro ratio the drivetrain came out of. Normal first gear, but 1500rpm at ~70mph in the long 6th.
R200 long nose is more than strong enough and won’t ever really be the weak link in the driveline. I’ve got one in my LS swapped 240Z, 3.54 ratio - good choice of helical / plate diffs etc.
Yeah looks good, in retrospect that’s the one I probably should have gone for as the blower is much more powerful.
I don’t know what engine you’re using, but on my LS the water needs to be constantly flowing, you can’t just block the flow to the core to turn heat on/off, so you may need some...
Yes, although there’s a slightly different variant where the two bottom outlets are adjustable vents that you can just direct to where you want in the footwell (or have them closed to increase flow to the top outlets). Those two top outlets I’ve got going to the windscreen.

Got a mini ‘race heater’ from T7 design, it’s tiny and perfect for what I need. Well recommended.
