I'm pretty sure on this one, but thought I'd ask. I've noticed the clutch fluid needs topping up, which I've done a couple of times now. Master cylinder looks fine. I've not checked slave. My guess is that it's leaking... Quick and easy replacement job?

I'm popping down to Salon Prive 'Coffee and Cars' this Sunday morning, 60s and 70s Classic cars. Only 30 cars, so pleased to get the OK to show the Z. I think there are also a lot of Morgans going to a club event. 9am to 12pm.

My car passed its MOT today (yippee). But got an advisory.... No ignition light. Am I right in thinking there isn't one?

I've noticed the 240Z gets a little hot, driving on the motorway at 80mph. Normal driving and at 70 mph the temp gauge hovers around the middle or just cooler. If I push the car a bit, over 80mph, the gauge heads up towards three quarters hot. There is plenty of water in the rad, and the fan...

Quick question... The rubber/plastic shield that goes over the wiper shaft/wiper arm, what colour is it meant to be? Mine's orange/yellow. Is this correct or should I paint it black? Cheers, Gary

I'm in the process of re trimming the seats, and noticed the seat sides (the metal parts that hold the seat together) are currently paint black - probably Hamerite. I don't think this is correct. Could anyone help me and say what the original finish should be? Is it simply black satin...

I think my map light is meant to have a pull down plastic thing that switches the map light on and off and tidies up the light in its metal surround. Is this correct? Any ideas on where I can source one from? Cheers and thanks

The red US 240z sold for £11k. Seemed quite a lot tbh.

Like many I suspect, my rear view mirror glass is not the best, with quite a bit of the mirror surface gone. I might be lucky and find a replacement. However, I wondered if anyone found a way to pop out the mirror glass, and have a replacement made and refitted. Good or bad idea? Any advice welcome.

Finally have the 240z on the road. All the jobs getting sorted. New shocks all round have made a huge difference. Good tune up and other bits complete. I've notice that when I get to around 70mph in 5th I get quite a load droaning noise coming into the car. When I put in the clutch it goes...

A dumb question. But is it possible to adjust the clutch so it engages/disengages earlier in the travel? Mine is quite late on and would prefer earlier. Adjustment? Ta. Gary

I'm after a decent rear screen for the 240z 1971. Having now got the car back from the seller I noticed the rear screen is badly scratch/marked. Very odd how this happened - but net result is I would like to replace. Does anyone have one or know of one I can buy? Alternatively, has anyone...

I'm thinking of throwing out a radio in the 240 (after market, horrid thing), and having nothing there other than blanking plate. Then I thought, perhaps I can make a copy of OEM - just mock one up - only the front... Has this been done before and any ideas? I'm not paying £500 or...

My application for the V5 was refused. Said I needed to provide proof of date of manufacture. Does anyone know how I go about this? Does Datsun exist and could provide a certificate? How about Nissan. Does this Club provide a service ? Frustrating, but guess many others have found a way...
