Went to the auction at Kings Lynn today - saw this 260 which has been for sale at Thorney Classics, five miles from me, at £29,995 for a while. Condition was A1 and it made £18,360 inc fees having been bid to £17k.

For those with US cars of this year that had the later design with the water-cooled manifolds, have you kept that system when working on the cars over here - or blocked off the pipework - probably all bunged up with sludge anyway - and bypassed it?
I have also junked the smog unit and am...

One of the rear interior panels on my car has suffered some damage and I need someone with a similar panel to ideally take a pic of their intact one so I can work out how to repair it ...
Car is a '72 US import ... RHD cars may be the same, I don't know. Thanks!
I have a pair of these ... bought from MSA in the US last year and still in the bags. When I removed my headlamp bowls the rubber seals were nigh on perfect so not needed.

Being an older car fan and not a fan of moderns I don't know why this strikes a chord with me but it does to an extent ... wouldn't say I was chomping at the bit to buy it but it does look the...

I made the mistake of forcing the thing instead of taking it apart first and doing a lube job ...
So this little bit marked in the pic below has broken in two. The pic is from a '73 set up although mine is a '72. I'm sure they're the same. It's the bit of black plastic that holds the...
