Mine does the same. Try getting a new key cut first.

    Brake pads 260Z

The way to tell is if you have alloys with gaps in them, look through at the caliper and see whether they have pins top & bottom to hold the pads. Otherwise you can see by taking the wheel off. There is another type that are held in the calipers slightly differently and are a different shape.

    Brake pads 260Z

I got mine from EBC brake parts but RockAuto will probably be cheaper. There are 2 types for a 260z so be careful when ordering.

    Radiator Hoses

    Try Rock Auto.

    Optronic ignition

The downside of the Pertronix system is that as I understand it, it relies on the old dizzy body and just replaces the points etc. If the dizzy shaft or bushes are worn it could throw out any pickup from the new bits. I have the 123 ignition system in mine along with quite a few others and they...

Finally! New RHD steering racks from TTT

Agree with Ali on the coupler. The poly coupling is much firmer but not as harsh on the hands as the solid coupler. Good price for the rack though and you can get the outer track rod ends from RockAuto if you dont want to pay the price for the TTT ones.

    240Z Insurance Values

What you want to insure it for is immaterial in many cases cos most insurance companies will want an agreed valuation from either their own assessors or from the Club. That is what they will base any payout on.

Daikou Nights @ Caffeine and Machine

Huw and I tried to follow Wyn and his Missus in that car in a drive across South Wales & the Brecons a few years back. That car was a monster and sounded awesome especially in the tunnels at Monmouth. He was a nice guy too. I did wonder what happened to him and that car.

    Donington Historic Festival May 2024.

I got a confirmation email with a booking reference on it. I looks like you have got as far as the application that you need to add to the basket. It's all a bit confusing and a right old faff to book but there are a couple of stages to go yet.

    Leak testing

Another way is to block one of the 2 hoses that go through the bulkhead to the heater valve and then pump air pressure into the other with a hand pump. If you have a leak, you will hear a hiss but won't get water inside the car. The residual water in the matrix and hoses will give you bubbling...

Japfest Silverstone April 7th 2024 - club stand booked

Crikey! It was not so many years ago that Japfest was held at Castle Combe which is nowhere near the size of Silverstone. Just shows how much it has expanded. I hope they provide more tickets for those that missed out on the early bird.

Does anyone remember their first time seeing a Z and thinking WOW!

I first saw one in 1984 just after I had passed my test. A mate who was a few years older and was a panel beater bought one that had been front ended to repair. Loved the shape and wanted one but couldn't afford either the car or the insurance at the time so bought a Toyota Celica 1600ST TA22...

Rubber Jobbies ;) 3D print of bungs, stoppers, etc

Jason. I need the 2 large grommets at the rear of my car on the valance. These hide the holes that were there to accommodate the US rear bumper mounts. Do you reckon you could print those cos I can't find them for sale anywhere? They are both still intact so will provide a template but are not...
