Larger Anti Roll Bars - Needed for a road car?

Won't affect the ride much, but can have an effect on under/oversteer characteristics. Most people seem to like them as an upgrade. I'm yet to drive mine with them, I mostly installed them because by extending my frame rails to join up with the rear subframe to stiffen the chassis meant I was...

    Body panels

I've tried a few, KF Vintage have been best quality and fitment so far out them all. First rear slam panel was too warped to make usable, the one I got from KF Vintage was perfect.

Finally! New RHD steering racks from TTT

Good to have if needed. Need to have a look and see how the ratio compares to my later 260Z ratio.

You and I may be able to. But not everyone has the patience for or the eye to be able to do bodywork to a high standard. I've seen some terrible home jobs, so I just feel its important to be realistic that it might not be for everyone.

Just keep in mind that the final coating is the easy part, no matter how good that is, if the primer, filer and blocking underneath is not good enough the finish will never be good enough. So only do this yourself if you are sure you will be able to do it to a level that will be high enough for...

    Caliper refurb recommendations please!

You are correct, the outer ones are gloss black, the center is Graphite black which is a satin finish. Calipers are usually from £38 per caliper + any service parts needed.

    Caliper refurb recommendations please!

The glossiest finish I can do is gloss black (Its on some of the calipers on my page) though the finish is more lime a semi gloss. For any other colour I can use cerakote ceramic clear to make them more glossy, though the gloss levels are still less than conventional paints. This is due to how...

Would be around £10k for a real nice job I would worry if it were much cheaper than £9k and at the same time it shouldn't take more than £12k, but this will come down to labour price, you won't find much cheaper than £40 an hour, but of course some places will be £65+ so this can bump the price...

SCD Video on an MZR Datsun

All of the underside remains metal, as does the main roof frame, and all the front end under the panels, pretty much anything structural, therefore, it can all still rust in the areas that normally do so.

That doesn't include the chassis though. But it reality these cars are so well sealed now its as well protected as a modern car. Still won't be taking mine out in bad weather though. I would say who cares, but thats just me. The style is still there, the interior style is also very close to...

    SOLD: 260z RHD freshly Restored

Thats really nice. I would like to buy it. I can't, but I would definitely like to. I think a high compression L30 would go nicely alongside the RB26.

Pretty impressive for a car from 71 that hasn't just been a garage queen all its life.

    Tech tip: OEM sound deadening

Nice post Richie. Good to see if someone wished to they could re do their car as originally as possible, thanks for sharing the info. For mine I'm using butyl stuff, its foil backed, not ideal, but I'll never see it so it matters not. I'm also aiming to make it effective while adding as little...
