    BC Coilover spring rates

What are the recommendations on spring rates from you club folks, who have fitted BC coilovers to reasonably standard weight 240Z's, that would mainly be used on our lovely british roads! as I see that they offer 3 options: NISSAN 240Z 260Z S30 (51MM) (WELD IN) (70-73) 3/3KG.MM NISSAN 240Z...

I will up date when I get a chance, like any old car I have had to do and get done quite a bit, since I was lucky enough to obtain this well used charismatic Car from Rob back in 2021.

    240Z/260Z front suspension strut

As mentioned, surly this compresses the spring and stiffens them when they are tightened to lower the car?

    240Z/260Z front suspension strut

Yes, I was looking to fit a full used set of original type of dampers and springs, with the possibility if not being successful then having the option to convert them to BC type coil overs when funds permit. Secondly, are you saying that the 260z suspension set up will fit to 240z's? Sorry for...

    240Z/260Z front suspension strut

Thank's Rob, What I was getting at, is the lower strut section has no adjustment, that is you can't screw the damper in and out, so as to alter the ride height. I may be not seeing the whole concept, but it appears to me that the top part on the existing shocks just alters the spring tension?

    240Z/260Z front suspension strut

Can any advice on if the early uk spec 260Z had the 240z front suspension (top pic) set up, or would it have been the later set up (bottom pic) as I'm looking to try and overhaul my existing solid lower platform adjustable coil overs. and I'm looking to fit a used temporary set up. this is...

    Steering Rack U-Bolt Stopper Rack

Are these part's critical on the steering rack, no's 26-27? ( or is is it just to position the steering rack ) only I'm not sure if the one on my steering rack is in the same position as the one in the work shop manual. Any guidance would be appreciated.

240/260Z Steering Lower joint assembly Bearing

I hate getting rid of the original parts if they can reasonably be serviced and put back into use , as it is, I managed to find a replacement universal joint from JMB for around 22.00, and am just getting it pressed in at the moment.

240/260Z Steering Lower joint assembly Bearing

Very interesting, the complete steering lower joint assembly is with a local bearing specialist at the moment who is seeing if they can match the universal joint, once they get back to me I will take it from there. Thanks for you input and I will keep updating on my progress. This is the lower...
