Dipped lights!

Hi

I don't know how to turn on the dipped lights on my Datsun 240z. The stalk goes from nothing to parking lights to full heads. Is this a peculiarity with my car or is this normal?

Pull back on the indicator stalk - this will turn off your full beam and revert to normal headlights.
If this doesn't work, the stalk is faulty.
