Temperature gauge drama

Hey all,

260z 2+2 1976. Uk car

She hasn't run in 20 years, she's now back on the road and sorting the final issues.

The temp guage isn't working. I've:

• Replaced the sender
• Tried earthing out the yellow cable to see if the gauge goes into the red. It doesn't.

Whats next? Please help, I'm going mad.

trace the wiring back to the gauge, check there's continuity, check the gauge has 12v supply.

Bit of an obvious one but have you checked the fuses?
