S30 strut-brace bars

I’ve got one of skids boxes so I’ll stick to wot skids came up with regarding performance, flow ect as I don’t know anyone on here that’s has done as much as skids regarding the research rather than than just reading about it but yeah it is a simple 60 s Engine but it works

I was on about the m3 engine! Its not about reading, its about having had a few in bits and measuring what they use as std.

My engine then : CFM = 3.1ltrs (189 cubic inches) divided by 3464 times max revs (7000) = 382......? A long way from 130cfm....!

I've been advided to have a 120mm airtube to an airbox which ideally should be 5ltrs air per cylinder (so 30ltrs in capcity) or calculated by gross bhp / 10 ...so again, 30litres. Going to be complicated to get that much under the bonnet etc so we're going to settle for at least 20 ltrs from a custom-made box.

you're over thinking it all, otherwise engines like the s50b32 or the s2000 would be mostly airbox under the bonnet.

Sean, re-read the post, its 130cfm per 100bhp, so your maths says that you’ll be at about 280bhp which seems to make sense

Very tempting especially as they'll cost god knows how much to get in the country once we come out of Europe. How long is the promotion running for or did it end yesterday?
