the wait is very painful.... you can track the ship but when they stop for 2 days in port or just outside its really frustrating

LOL I feel like you instinctively know what's going on right now. Its the vessel Lila London if you're interested.
Think it's going through the Panama Canel in a couple of days time.

Hi guys, well the car has arrived! The pictures do not do it justice! I put some fuel in her and got her started, that noise it made was fantastic! I only reversed it into the garage for storage, as the weather won't be good for a while. I may take her out if its dry once I get insurance + plates.

SacCyclone, all the boxes arrived safely, I see you packed lots of spares of things. That's incredibly nice of you, wasn't expecting so much!

Could you in some way without giving away too much how much you paid for the whole transaction? 5,10,1500 ? And we're there any extra payments you didn't envision?

Hi Fish

Well, first of all I did go over my initial budget I had of 10k. The cost to ship the vehicle from cali to Southampton in the UK cost me £2.5k owing to the fact that I had to get the car delivered to me in Bristol. The 5% vat bill is what pushed the figure up.

I think in total I am about 12.5k in so far. I have bought a 'dash wrap' for a few hundred and some light covers recently on this forum as well.
