Wheels move in Neutral

My car is currently on blocks in the garage with the wheels off. When trying to start up the other day, a friend of mine noticed that the rear wheels were slowly turning as I turned the key.

Dropping the clutch made them stop, but releasing again made them spin again.

Car was definitely in neutral.

Other searches seem to indicate that this can happen when the transmission fluid is cold on other cars, but not sure if this is normal on Zs?

I'm not clued up on this sort of thing, so any help is much appreciated!

Thanks

Yes, normal for normal manual gearboxes.
The input drive isn't locked but is still connected to the output through its bearing, so it'll transmit as much torque as friction/drag between the input shaft and the primary drive gear bearing allows.
Clear as mud :)
