At least it looks like something will get sorted over there which so far nothing sorted over here yet ,

It is so easy to type that sentence - so much harder to organise an event especially as the folks assumed to be responsible for organising it are also running the Club.

Especially as some of us have offered our services regarding entertainment for free and have turned down possible work/gigs for next year,at least the organisers should have the decency to keep us informed, not that hard really is it,simple email would be enufff

Speaking in no official capacity and with song quotes seeming to be in vogue elsewhere on the site today, I’m joining in.

‘I heard it on the grapevine’ that ‘We the People’ are aiming to have one big
at Silverstone Classic 2019

‘One Love’ and ‘People get Ready’. Just one large stand is envisaged and a parade lap as we ‘Come together as one’. A broad church encompassing all S30, S130, z31, Z32, Z33 and Z34 models and all their respective clubs.

Sounds good heh ?

I so agree with the initial sentiment of that post Rob, however I will still organise what is (I think) the biggest S30 UK get together there is, and I’m nothing to do with the running or organisation of the club, don’t even have a car currently..!

I personally do it because of my love of seeing the cars and their owners in a common place enjoying their ownership and socialising together. So I’m gonna “Shout to the top” and say “All Together Now” and lets focus on next year and making whatever we plan to do successful.

Keep up the good work JK - I can't think of a song apart from 'You ain't seen nothing yet' perhaps?

A bunch of foreign paperwork dropped through the letter box today. Cheers

Any idea what the four items are that are crossed out on the pass. One looks like a vest? I haven't a clue what the others are supposed to be.

I haven't seen it yet however it's almost certainly to do with dress code. I think they're attempting to give the venue a slightly more upmarket feel with people dressed smartly (a bit like vintage dressing up for the Goodwood Revival).

Last time you weren't meant to be wearing shorts and vests etc over the weekend. I don't know how they planned on enforcing no shorts in 30-40 degree heat. I personally wore shorts as did many others, ignoring it and no one said anything anywhere. Who knows this years though.....

One is a drone I think.

Well, I'd rather it be warm than not although I rather like the idea of a gentlemanly dress-code - without going too stupid one can remain cool as an Englishman even in the midday sun.
