Just doing my Friday night trawl through youtube and it suggested I look at this.

The co-driver has got a death-wish:

You have to admire the car, driver and co-driver.

There are lots of 'clips' like this - great entertainment.

I do cringe when I see the spectators standing at the side of the road.

Great stuff Rob. You've got to trust your copilot completely to drive like that.

Properly bonkers driving there, really amazing someone drive a car that was so out of control it was in control. A spectacle watching both the driver and co driver at work. Great team.

Two good choices of vids there guys. Frank Kelly has become an internet sensation in his Escort, nicknamed Baby Blue, have a look at the rest of his vids, one of the many Mk2 nutters in Irish rallying. There’s a great time lapse one of him rebuilding the car after a big off a couple of seasons ago. His daughter was studying Media Studies at college and it’s her who created most of the vids, promoting her dad to what is now world wide fame.

Simon McKinley was THE star of hill climbing in Eire. A multiple Irish Champion, he drove the famous white Mk2 and a single seater Lant, both Warrior powered, in the same sideways style. A highly talented driver and a great guy, unfortunately he died a few years ago in an accident in the Racing car, a real tragedy and a huge loss to the sport.
