LPG conversion and coil pack Q

Just as a thought, I've heard about replacing the distributor with a coil pack. I persume this gives a better times and more consistent strength of spark. Has anyone done this (on any engine really) and would it be worth it?

Also has anyone converted their vehicle to LPG?

Hiya ninehigh ,, A crank triggered coil pack system is wonderful if your running a race car where you need to tune for the track etc , but you would not really need such stuff for a road car,, the standard distributor and all will perform very well in any but the most extreme environment :) As far as LPG is concerned, ive used it in Canada lots ,,but forget cold weather, cus the regulator freezes and your screwed

No problem :)

Now when you say cold weather, do you mean Canada cold weather (one guy I worked with said there was a weather channel that gave reports like "Exposed skin will freeze in xx minutes") or Britain cold weather (oh no, snow!)
