The magazines are now up on ebay and will be there until Sunday 22 Oct. Search "Datsun z club" and you will find them. Includes an interesting article from a younger Albrecht on a visit to Japan. Also younger versions of some faces still lurking on these forums

I know some of you are into model kits. I bought one from Japan to build in my own real car livery. It is a right hand drive kit whilst many kits are left hand drive. Up for sale on ebay if you are interested (after 8pm Wednesday)
I bought door seals in October 2021 which fitted nicely on my 240z. Have a search on ebay under seal-extrusions (the item seller) and key words "large door seal mini" . The full item description is "Large car rubber door seal trim Mini MG VW FORD Toyota Universal fit - bonnet"
Worked on my car...
......ps You need to remove the fuel rail from the car and disconnect from the carbs and fuel pump. You don't want compressed air forcing through the carbs or fuel pump
I had a similar problem a few years back. Blowing compressed air through the fuel rail solved it. First rod it with electric cable as far as it will go (ie before the bend). Then blow compressed air from the top return rail first (the top rail has the small restrictor hole). Also get a small...
You might find this guide useful. The later senders seem to be readily available on ebay uk. Might save you ordering something from the usa

Thanks for taking the trouble to dig out the nut. Your picture shows two incompatible items' The brass sender on the left will screw directly into the housing and does the job. The brass sender on the earlier cars did not have a thread. It was the separate nut that provided the securing...
I obtained a new old stock temperature sender off ebay. It fixes into the thermostat housing by means of a separate hollow nut/hex bolt with external M16 thread. The Nissan part number for the hollow nut seems to be 25251. I was going to use my existing nut to attach the new sender but found the...
I spend a good while lying on my back putting the sump back on. Those million bolts are the most tedious job going. Had a pot noodle and then realised that I hadn't refitted the baffle gauze that sits in the engine before the blowby outlet pipe. Doh !
I bought my 123distributor from www.scparts.co.uk . They sell parts for British cars, mainly Jaguar but if you look a little harder you will find the Datsun distributor on their website.
I am happy with my 123distributor. Also bought a better quality cap and kept the original as a spare. I...
SU carbs do not like excess pressure. I seem remember it's 4psi they are comfortable with (you'll need to check that). The S30 mechanical fuel pump will deliver this level of pressure. If you go electric you might then need a fuel pressure regulator.
Its worth getting the Haynes SU Carburettor...
