I’d check the oil pickup for oily sludge in the sump Mine had a problem it turned out the pickup was blocked It made my cam start knocking Cleaned it up and since been ok

Will These will fit an early 260z too ?

Are your spark plugs ok? I had the same trouble, was hesitant when on full revs I thought it was fuel related starving of fuel the same as you I decided to change the spark plugs And it now runs like a dream

Last weekend I fitted some refurbished brake calipers and new pads on my 260z which I got off eBay about a year ago. I had a lot of trouble with the brakes binding on the drivers side ,sticking rusty pistons , now much better , probably save a few quid on fuel too My next job is to fit...

I have jbw mini lite style 8 wide wheels with 225/60/15 tyres fitted on standard suspension, And only have issues when I go down a pot hole ,then I can hear the tyre touching the rear arches slightly sometimes.

hi Jon , just been for a ride in it and it is in all gears ,when giving it gas then letting it off then back on , it has always been noisey but im sure its getting worse , louder

hi guys , i have a noisy cluncking noise when reversing and then setting off in 1st gear and in second when accelerating and decellerating , it is not as noticable when in higher gears ,it is a 74 260z could this be universal joints? any ideas anyone cheers jay

Put a new earring strap on today from battery to bulkhead and a new condenser and seems to have solved my starting and running issues ,also the positive terminal is cool, I would like to thank you all again for your help. Now got to put it in for an mot and hopefully I will be enjoying my car...

Sorry franky, I never thanked you too . Right been in the garage to check connections on the starter , cleaned them up, took the - terminal off cleaned that too . Where the - terminal is bolted to the starter motor bolt ,should there be a braided wire strap going to the bodywork or chassis too ...
