Its now January ’24 and the car has been at the workshop for almost a year. Truth be told, the track season was my immediate priority, that brought with it its own drama, a late start to the season, finding leaks and faults, coupled by electrical issues meant I chased my tail with the season...

it wasn't dirt cheap.. but it was cheap enough to take a punt on.

Great to hear that people are reading, can't say it'll be always interesting and thanks for the insta follows, I've followed back too.. I agree it's great for inspiration, but not so much for recording the work as such. Will update again soon too

Hey peeps, I’m wanting to rebuild my ‘71 240z brake master cylinder and the front brake calipers! Anyone in the uk provide the parts? Or is it a US import jobbie? Removed it as the piston was seized… manage to free it all to dismantle.. and I’ve cleaned up the whole thing and would like to...

So I managed to get my newly acquired non running 240 started! Got it even cheaper because it was a non runner, but it turns out it has an S.D.S standalone ECU. A little bit of fettling- a few checks and it coughed into life.. and it’s sounds swwweeeettttt!! So happy that it starts… it means...

Yeah pulling the shell apart is def a big ole project, but I’m kinda seeing that as part of it! I’ve been down that road with vw’s and a couple of jdm cars before, had an itch to scratch so will give it a go! I’m very aware the car was cheap.. so I’m expecting a lot of effort to be needed...

Yeah always worried with a project that you stagnate.. def have spent a bit of time going through threads. Will put a plan together for sure… im Not even giving myself a time line for it! For me it’s a dream car and it takes as long as it takes! Just need to start gathering bits ready for it...
