    MR16DDT Powered RHD 240z

Finally some updates! Stuff and things are happening on the build, first, ive secured some complete axles for a very good price from a chap on facebook who was scrapping an awfully rusty shell, nice chap that stood by his word and we came to an arrangement for evertyhing pictured; so until i...

    MR16DDT Powered RHD 240z

But as an engineer i always have to explain myself haha! Comes with the territory, as does people falling asleep half way through my explanations

    MR16DDT Powered RHD 240z

Because im an engineer and SR20s are massively overpriced and tired by this point. The mr18ddt is v6 power in a 1.8 engine out of the box without having to forge, build, modify, because it was built to be that from factory, and that box (or crate) only costs £2500 with a brand new engine inside...

    MR16DDT Powered RHD 240z

So it finally landed home, although this will be a massively slow burner, while i have a newborn child, a business to run, a house to build and a job to work i at least have taken the 1st and second steps on the way to building myself my dream car. The shell is RELATIVELY rust free having...

    Reproducing RHD wiper linkage

Assume if you were going the other way youd have to cut a brace out on the left hand side? i.e. datsun fitted an extra brace where there wasnt a linkage? My car is RHD so its not a massive worry to me, im just aware the parts are difficult to find and i know mine at least, are a bit messed up...

    Reproducing RHD wiper linkage

Not as happy with the second one, had to use the MIG...:ack:, will get the end piece scanned and laser cut in future instead of some fettled u-channel, but it'll do for a prototype.

    Reproducing RHD wiper linkage

So this is the first prototype, and obviously first of the pair, is there anyone about local to the south that has a RHD 240/260 in pieces that has a working wiper motor that wants to give this a go? Logical choice for me would be @Rushingphil, but if there is anyone else? @arcdef you put your...

    Reproducing RHD wiper linkage

So here goes my first community contribution! Trying to reproduce an equivalent RHD linkage. Ill be making mine in stainless steel thin-wall tubing with welded nuts on the ends for heim joints to take out any slop and discrepancy in the original compared to what ive measured. Once ive made a...

Big plans indeed. Both cars have their own V5s so there is no worrying there, correct, the new shell is also a UK RHD car. Both cars are basically abandoned projects, the fully welded and jigged one is a car that was done and the owner essentially had life halt plans hence it being available...

He didnt explain the rules, dammit, ill just have to cut a couple off the daily and throw them in the boot, counts right? Yeah the MR engine range is proper new stuff, i originally looked at the MR16 which is the 1.6 DIG-T engine fitted to the juke, but 300hp sounds beter than 200hp; in for a...

Hi all, Initially thanks to Jon Billings for validating my account while i scratched my head trying to figure out why i wasnt receiving my validation email! So short story long, i recently purchased a 1972 UK RHD 240z on ebay after being goaded into it by friends, my dream car, ive always...
