    your exactly right but what caused the seal to blow i think was running over a large rock or something going down the motorway :banghead: to be honest i think the racks ok so am goin to put it back and hope for the best and at the very least get the tracking checked

    i blew out the seal on the front right shock absorber :EXTRAeek: on the wayback form weston s mare saturday z is now in bits in the garage and new inserts have been installed on the front now checking the steering rack over in case of damage

    many thanks timfz im going from e5 unleaded to e5 super so leaving the timing as is wont cause any harm? i can advance the timing but didnt know by how much i do have a timing light so can do it but would rather leave it well alone if i can as it runs sweet as is

    hi everyone question about timing, mine is currently set to run on standard 95 ron fuel on standard 260z 1978 engine however with all the fuel going e10 im going to start using super but will i need to advance the timing or can i leave it alone? many thanks james

    i had mine done by readyrads in brum he pressurized the tank to check for leaks then cut the tank open to weld in new metal then repeat the process wasn't too expensive either £140 rings a bell i know i did post on here about it years ago

    if somebody has one to hand you could always send it to somewhere like honeybourne mouldings who already do a lot of fibreglass panels for datsuns and they can make a negative mould for production from the original.

    take it to ready rads in birmingham he sorted mine out. he cuts out the rust and welds in fresh and can then test it under water under pressure for leaks, even with a guarantee. he repairs radiators for a living so can lead load, solder and braze so repairing a tank to him is a doddle but not...

    yeah you are right paul, one hose will do it, i ordered some 15mm hose and it was a real pita to squeeze on the other end but it did go on.

    i seem to recall its 15mm one end and 16mm the other as i had to go out of my way to find an adapter as I've joined the inlet and outlet together too because my valve leaked

    be careful with the alloy ones i have the machine mart 1.25 ton jacks and its rather flexible under load :EXTRAeek: make sure you use it on absolutely flat ground, handbrake on and wheels chocked. if you want a decent jack I'm afraid tried and tested steel is the best. i have another steel low...

    test voltage at the relay and see if your getting battery voltage i will be very suprised if you do. when the battery is charging off the alternator the voltage must be higher than battery voltage, this in turn is what the circuits in the car are designed to run at. when you turn the engine off...
