Did you manage to get the rad cap and top hose fitting higher than the thermostat housing?

I bought a clear one during covid. Was not given any other option

No, there seems to be plenty of oil. I am running a dry sump system though, but the pressure is not set higher than normal. Using Fuchs Titan Pro race 5w-40
