What did you do to your Z this week?

Big font. Nice car, numberplate probably illegal but I drove with a bonnet plate for years.
Hi Rob,
Re the font, yes, a bit bigger than I expected. Think my mate got carried away but what the hell.
It seems I’m ok, pre 1980 and registered historic and tax exempt. I mean, as former police office, I wouldn’t dream of doing anything illegal with the car!!!!!

Back in California at the moment after a decade; saw a few modded 350 and 370Zs around and about outside Disneyland, but we came down to San Diego to my old university-era haunt of Pacific Beach last night, and today I had my first older Z spot in the wild - really nice Z31 2-seater turbo burbled around a corner right in front of me! Metallic red with nice big alloys, lowered, etc. Just a matter of time for an S30 spot. In fact the kids swear blind they saw one parked up just after we came off the I-5, but I was focussed on traffic!

I've been welding again! (actually I haven't stopped, for weeksEXTRA:D).
Today I finished the right A pillar repair. It was crusty for the whole length where the top piece wraps under but ends short of the pinch seam.
I think water gets held by the door seal and gets between the layers here.

All cut out:

The repair inside is two bits of 2mm plate:

and then one piece of 0.8mm to finish it and make it look sort of standard.

Finished. And the dogleg which I finished a while a go.

Started updating the stereo/audio
Had to unravel 3 sets of previous stereo bodges to get the new (cheapy but bluetooth) stereo in there
Speakers are shot on the left so replacements coming and I'm going to run an extra set into the parcel shelf
