First time in the garage in over 6 months so made it an easy one making space and put up shelving which I realised is where I hang the bonnet, so made sure I rehung it before I filled the shelving.
I touched the car lots but didn't further it's progress

I've been welding! I think that's everything in front of the bulkhead sorted. The offside corner reinforcement and engine subframe reinforcement both had holes but the box section inside was fine. I think the problem is that the reinforcement is only spot welded on and traps water between the two layers. Other bits: I broke a drill in the sill, drilling out the broken wing bolt, so I had to cut the section out to replace the captive nut. Also some little repairs where I cut the "bonnet pins" off. I spend a good while lying on my back putting the sump back on. Those million bolts are the most tedious job going. Had a pot noodle and then realised that I hadn't refitted the baffle gauze that sits in the engine before the blowby outlet pipe. Doh !

Oh flip! That's when a little electric screwdriver and socket adapter really helps

I've got an SGS blasting cabinet only a small one. Works well apart from dust in the cabinet which after a while you can't see what you're doing.

I watched a YouTube video which shows a cyclone separator that you can buy from Amazon and with a few other parts and a vacuum you make a collector for the dust and media to settle in. Without this separator the vacuum cleaner would get clogged.

I can see totally clearly now in the cabinet!

Thanks to a Z friend who used his lathe to make me an adaptor and got me a bucket, the other connector bits i had lying around. I also got the spare vacuum hose from the local dump.

Here's a pic, excuse the mess...!

Took mine out a couple of times the weekend as I have been neglecting it lately, what with building the truck and the RV ,

Any way down to Gower Brewery Tap on Friday night , ( great beer if you haven't tried it yet ) and out Sunday morning ealry for a quick blast and shopping duties and B&Q to get some bits,

Always forget how good it sounds

To be sure we are talking about the same surfaces, I have indicated In a photo the small areas. Is it the same answer?
