Yes, a fantastic car needing nothing and built with 100% dedication to the goal. No expense spared. A big price for a big car - probably half the cost of an MZR car?

That’s a great looking car and good value I suspect once you add up the cost of what has been done. If it suits your taste then it’s a bargain.

Any car advert that asks you to “register your interest” irritates me. It’s language descended from estate agents. We’re car guys, not Rupert and Samantha looking for a bolt hole in the Cotswolds.

Cost of living has now gone up

I suspect cars will increase more

Hence why I bought another 240z

It's hard price a good 240z Ryan spent many hours building her and getti gher back

If I remember she is a UK car too

When my 240z ready I'll be asking £40k

its a nice car. £70k is beyond optimistic.

i'd be expecting £70k's worth of panel gaps and panel alignment.

240z have one gas strut on hence why most 240z look like that my super samuri looks like that

I have seen the car in person few times and is nice

Hope he sells it nice UK 240z

I think a car pitched at such a top-end asking price would need to have a little bit more attention paid to fit and finish. It will be slightly off-putting to people who are more used to seeing the fit and finish on classic Porsches, for example.

Especially so on things that jump out to the eye, like baggy interior vinyl, door rubber used as hatch seal, rear garnish top with glaring mis-matched gaps etc.

Lovely car and a really nicely put together 'package' of modifications, but the non-mechanical detailing needs a little more fettling for this price level in my opinion.

You have to start somewhere with the asking price. I know this car cost a lot to restore and build so Ryan is going to aim high and can come down if necessary.

I'm not sure as I haven't asked, but perhaps Ryan has it on SOR with the dealer, with him asking for a particular return and them adding their margin and then fielding all the enquiries, etc..?

It does make you wonder why he didn't advertise it on here? I'm guessing he anticipated comments re price and some details. Shame really. Many of use followed the resto with interest. Decent car, decent guy.

Front wing indicators - common error, the white Samuri at Donington last week was wrong.

The price was suggested by Torque GT based on what they had sold previous cars for. Substantially less than what it cost to build. Its not perfect as many people have said but come on its pretty damn good!

Rob - you're right I didn't advertise it on here due to the inevitable comments from the same old people.

Yeah its SOR with them. Only way to go for me with expensive cars. I sold my F80 M3 the same way and it took all the bother and hassle out of it.

I take your point on some of the items you have spotted. Most of those items are easily sortable and have been discussed with Torque GT. The hatch does seem slightly distorted likely due to the single damper on one side. Maybe a more experienced panel alignment guy would improve it but it beat me I am afraid. However I think the backbone of the car is there and hopefully people will see that. I.e. its definitely not rusty!

It worth noting I had a nose around a Singer at Bicester in January. Cost the owner £650k. Spotted paint and interior defects on that too. A well taken picture can hide a thousand sins.
