Would the G-Nose have been converted by someone with a kit then?
So judging it from a few small photos is a bit narrow minded , you all entitled to opinions but if you haven’t actually seen the car for real then maybe keep your comments to your selfs until you have seen the car especially if you have no interest in buying it . Any one is welcome to come and look and if it’s a bad car your more then welcome to post that .
(my bold)
No disrespect intended, but you're never going to be able to stop something like this from happening. If you put photos of the car up for people to see as part of a sale, they *will* pass judgement - good or bad - on what they see. A car like that WILL come to the attention of a forum dedicated to the marque and model.
The virtual world of social media and forums like this one are really not all that different to a discussion down the pub. The format allows people to make observations, and it allows you - as you have just done - to reply should you see fit to do so. Some of the comments may annoy you, some of the comments may be uninformed or unfair, and some of the comments may indeed be informed, correct and fair. You have to take the rough with the smooth I'm afraid.

I’ve just joined the club as I’ve owned a few 240s over the years and I love the cars , there may be one or 2 of my old cars owned by club members now ?
Anyway the yellow one on eBay that you are all slagging off is one of my cars , it is a rust free car , good gaps , straight panels , absolutely solid and original underneath, and the paintwork is excellent yes the wheels / carb is not to everyone’s tastes but they are easily changed PLUS the originals are all with the car , no one has mentioned that tho .

100% agree with what your saying , I’m pretty thick skinned tbh , I can take the rough and the smooth without a problem , plus I don’t know a huge amount about what is correct or not , especially on an American import , so I don’t mind at all if things are pointed out but what gets my back up is the snidey remarks by armchair experts .
Yellow 240Z "Restored to a very high standard in the USA" - complete p*ss-take !

Worth considering that members of the forum are acting on as much information as your other potential buyers have, not every car gets 'slagged off' but those without lots of closeup photos are more prone to it (some sellers have 100+ imgur galleries of shots) Also remember this is a community for our members to discuss cars, not one to help you sell your car.
I was bidding on a set of wolfrace on eBay but forgot when they ended and missed them , they would have suited it well , I’ll let the next owner decide on what way they want to go as far as wheels goMight be worth fitting them for the sale. they'll only help.
