I'm very proud of all our fanz that contributed and manned their national club stand at Lyons' Epoque Auto last weekend - tremendous job guys !

Principal aim - promote the cars.

Seconday - make people aware that help and advice are freely available via the club, before a purchase if wished

Thirdly - have a good time between friends :)

Good looking stand Sean. Was it a good show?
Apparently, Sylvain was there to help and represent our committe.

Obviously cancelled last year, people were keen to get out this autumn.

42nd running of and with a total of +80,000 visitors this year.

The rally Datsun saloon (610?) appears to have 260Z wheels (ironcross?) - were they an original fitment? I'm thinking they may have been steel and trims. Anyway it looks good and is quite an unusual sight.

Well done guys, especially Sylvain.

Sylvain went along for the ride - the local guys did the work :)

The Datsun 610 coupé has indeed 260Z* wheels (I though iron cross were specifically early euro 280ZX wheels ?) which I hate on the car but he has refused my offer of a set of my period tribute wheels....he also has a 280ZX 2x seater.

*which are not OEM, steelies with hubcaps were.

We were 4 people to organise it and a few more onsite; the main 2 are local and did a huge work.
To make it cost effective, we reused the banners of 2019 with only some stickers to modify the moto which was « 50th years »

great show… the only big one this year in France which was not cancelled what explains probably the success.

Both the 240z and the 610 were fitted with 260z wheels.
Our intention was to have a kit car, a GTO or another… but it didn’t match the planning

:)
