Re chroming recommendations

Hi all, not Datsun related but has anyone had items re chromed and if so where is a good place and what is the process please

Might be a stretch from you but a local place I have used for both zinc and chrome is South Wales Metal Finishing (https://www.southwalesmetalfinishing.co.uk/). My old man had a few bits done recently which looked great. Think turnaround was around 8 weeks, that may have been partly due to holidays but I thought they were reasonable.

Thanks, south wales is easily reachable from me so will give them a bell. No rush ( which I will not say to them) but would be good to get the bits done sooner rather than later

Thanks for the recommendations. will have a phone round and see what the services are like. Fiat 500 resto is the new project in the garage now the Datsun is back together.

Do share your findings. Last I heard the rate was near £800 per bumper - strip. Straighten. Weld any holes, triple plate.

will do when I get that far. Can buy new ones for less so I will not be paying anywhere near those prices

I had a BAD experience with The Ashford Chroming Company. Avoid if possible is my recommendation. This was 6/7 years ago though so may be better now.
