They usually are exciting races. My point was that F1 can be boring and guys may not bother to watch it but do so today.

I watch the F1 qualifying and race highlights in YouTube. Costs me a 1/4 of an hour.
I haven't sat on the edge of my seat watching the full coverage for many years....there just isn't that tug nowadays....I believe most of the rules implemented, especially those 'to make it more exciting' have over-regulated the sport; one needs a lawyer on the pitwall now!

To be fair it’s been a pretty good season so far for F1 this year. But I do find the season is just a bit too long these days tho, it does seem never ending after a while.

I always look forward to the the F1 race weekend coverage, and although I'm not a fan of football, I must admit to be drawn in to the EURO 2020!

I reccomend watching the 7min highlights video on Youtube ; it puts it all into perspective when the coverage leaps +15 laps to the next 'action' !

started off great.

lewis did what he needed to do to win, punt max off the track.
Not quite, Lewis overdid it and ran wide at the same time Max turned, they barely touched but Max's tyre blew and that's what took him off. Lewis had started to back off but too late, Max could have gone wider to avoid a collision. I'd say 70% Lewis and 30% Max.

Shameful display of pride by the race winner after sending his competitor to hospital and with CAT scans.

The 10 second penalty was the least penalty the British stewards could impose - not even a stop and go and therefore without a combined pit-stop !

What was promised to be a really close race with competiting strategies making a fantastic spectacle with close racing turned into a bullying match - in the end Leclerc moved well of his line when Hamilton put himself in exactly the same position.

This is nowhere near the first time time Hamilton has performed the same trick and he got away with this one purely because the other driver hasn't died !

Hamilton lied and then relied about his position - even the FIA stated he could have avoided it and now he won't apologise......it was a deliberate move on the fastest corner of the track...even Senna would have finished in the tyres ! All that has been set up here is a brutal return match -

I believe this race finally buried the gentleman racer - the only fault now is getting caught out or losing the points.

A black day for racing.

No - it was 90% Lewis if not more - it was NOT treated as a racing incident by the stewards although they imposed the least impacted penalty they could which won't help calm things down in futur races.

If it was a cracker of a race - it would have been fireworks if Hamilton had allowed us to see two great drivers head to head. My opinion of him has been severly reduced for such cold-blooded behaviour - he knew what he was doing and the probably outcome ; he know he'd been outpaced all weekend so he punted Max off !
