Its amazing what can be hidden in the unseen areas of our cars, or what sins can even be hidden under a layer of filler in some cases. Only way to make sure its done properly is to put in the hours. Theres no way I'll be doing another restoration like this again, too costly. But happy to get this car done properly and make sure it will last me a long time into the future.
I'm sure some tidy cars are fine under the skin and others are not, hard to know isn't it. Thats what led to me going this far, I needed to know what it was like even where I couldn't see.
I love how CB550s can look, great looking bikes, I'm sure it rides ok for short runs? Its actually a bike I had considered building at some point. Not sure how mine will ride yet as I've only had it down my lane so far.
