Progress nearly finished my UK240Z

Hi All just thought i would share some pictures of my 240Z UK RHD 71K it seems to have been forever to get it to this stage lots of time, money and shouting lol bet you've all been there. Biggest delay it sat in the first body shop for nearly a year and they did nothing much. What i would say is when people buy a car that needs restoration in runs into £1000's and mine was solid !. Just needs a tune up, i have a Willwood master cylinder to fit and manifold needs adjustment. Starts on the button though. Hope you like her.

Yeah they do look glowing in the picture but i have some black ones too ! Sean can you give me a shout back ref the manifold cheers

A question: if the car was resprayed was there a reason the engine bay wasn’t painted orange? Did the engine come out?

Ah, I did wonder! I was surprised the colour from the factory was body colour as I had experienced years of looking at Mustang engine bays where the colour from the factory was always black ...

I think it works well and I have the 240z side stripes also.

Great job, looks really tidy. Panel gaps look spot-on, after spending ages on mine (still not happy) its one of my first measures of any resto and yours looks great!

Awesome job, amazing to see the transformation. Also surprised myself when I say that I quite like the black stripes too!

Orange is getting far too mainstream these days it seems ;-)
