Not sure of the material yet but most probably wet-cut steel. At worst, CNC.

The only downfall with those fixed tow-eyes is that they'll protrude from the front and rear bumpers - if that's a problem for the MOT, they're not really practical.

Yes, totally. Gap in the market I think Sean. $40 - $50 approx for a fabricated piece of metal that would prove very useful. I’d certainly buy one from you.

Yes, that is where I purchased mine about 4 years ago.

Bolts up with the front bumper bracket so no additional holes to drill.

If you get several chaps to order I can have them shipped to me and combine them in one box to POST to the UK. Might be a fair bit less money that way.

Here is my front towing eye. Made of high grade aluminium (8mm). I drilled 2 x 10mm holes in tie down plate and bolted it on. It sticks down below the valance but not far enough to cause any ground clearance issues. I have used this type of towing eye on several cars without any problems. I have now removed the other three tie down plates as they don't do anything and are heavy. Rear towing is not an issue because a tow rope can easily attach to the rear suspension.

you can do something like this.
a bit of 4mm mild steel, invert the original tow eye and add an ebay special tow strap.

Yes, well, I guess someone would (nice spoiler cut-out to get it to fit....) although why they'd fit that pond-linder on the front of a beautiful car - well, I'm stumped - certainly worried about the ex-seatbelt flapping around against the painted surface.
