Upgraded clutch master

Hey,

Does anyone have experience with upgrading the clutch master cylinder? I've seen talk of wilwood making a larger one that fits the same.locstion but can't find it in the UK.

Converted mine to manual and the standard clutch master isn't moving the slave enough (not an L series engine)

Any ideas would be great, thanks.

Maybe machine a longer rod in the current slave cylinder or change the pivot point to get more throw ?

its a concentric slave that was supplied with a kit to fit an RX7 gearbox to a Lexus engine and I have binned the box .

Trying to get confirmation from the supplier as to what size Master it requires.

Am i right thinking the 280z Master has a 5/8 bore?

so the slave should be good for that engine and clutch, hence looking for a bigger master?
might still be worth checking that the slave pin at rest has taken up most of the slack in the clutch fork.

Yeah it should work, this type of slave actually does away with a clutch fork all together. It mounts around the input shaft and extends forward when clutch is depressed. Need to figure out how they adjust if at all.

Looks something like this:
