These are also my preferred seat, please could you update here or pm what you find out. I’m not quite at seat ordering stage yet but it will either be these of for ease the cobra gt3.

Just a little worried how narrow the Japanese seats are, I’m not overly wide but at 6ft4” I’m not small.

Will do.
The Link Franky kindly put up only gives me the site for the engine side of their business with no apparent link to the other bits

it’s a bit rubbish in so much as you can’t click on it and get any more details or pics. Pretty rubbish

What details and/or pics did you want?

The Kameari GT seats are KEW's version of Nissan's U0175 'Datsun Bucket' sports option seats, which were made from the late 1960s through to the early 1980s. As such, there's probably not that much that Kameari can tell you about them without you asking more specific questions.

Bear in mind, a company like KEW will get many, many 'enquiries' from people who are really only doing a bit of casual window shopping. Once they find out how expensive it is to ship bulky parts like these from Japan, and how much import duty and taxes they have to pay on top, most of them will tend to give up.

I don’t suppose you have a spare set taking up garage space you would like to get rid of ;)?

There have been quite a few different replicas and interpretations of the theme over the years. Nissan themselves did a limited-edition reproduction some years back (in leather) to celebrate NISMO's anniversary.

One thing I would say is that this style of seat often leaves you sitting slightly higher than the stock seats if you use the stock seat sliders on stock seat crossmembers. I modified the seat base upholstery on mine to allow me to sit 'deeper' in the seat. Quite a lot of work, and I'm no upholsterer...

I believe cobra can custom the finish to your liking for any of the seats they offer in their range. So you can add the eyelets, cross stich etc to most designs.

Gary on here had something similar undertaken.
