That did not help. Thanks. Please Refer to the image. Im interested in removing, disassembling ,pulling the shaft from the housing, to replace the seal. The front side. Pully side.

The guide Jon linked to said it gets pressed in, so presumably it gets pressed out the opposite way?

It might help to share the original full image, not just a cropped screenshot from a phone.

scribe a line across where the rear cover/cam case/front section join ,undo the bolts holding them together, when you split them make sure that the vane inside does not come off the rotor, the o rings in the cam case should be replaced, the snap ring on the end of the shaft needs to come out, then pull the shaft out and replace the cam case and rear cover to stop the vane and rotor falling out, then flip the unit over and you can remove the offending seal........the other possibility if you can stop the pully turning is to undo the pully nut and get a puller on the pully then when you have it off prise out the seal

My power steering pump rebuild is leaking at the threading the supply line bolt into. I replaced the o ring. It leaks as i was filling resevoir with out the pump running. Its torqued to specs. The port lines up in the supply line bolt threads. The image below is the leak site. If I tighten bolt any more, the supply line Port wont be lined up. 1988 300zx

Sounds like it might be worth seeking professional help from somewhere that specialises in power steering pumps and racks rebuilds/refurbishment. I don't know where you live but there is a place in Bristol that does just that (Western Power Steering) for all makes of pump. They probably have the right tools & techniques to sort it.

That is the simple truth my friend. I can pretty much figure all that out on own. Dont need an online community to put 2 & 2 together .
