Fourways engraved cam cover

Unsold on eBay a month or two ago I believe. Definitely a thing back in the day in general terms (got a couple of Imp ones) but no idea re Fourways.

Strange bit of advertising, bit odd really. Not sure why anyone would want it.

You know, I had the exact same thought, £120 for a tatty one advertising a garage on your car or spend the money on something in a better condition?

Am I missing something here? It's a relic of a past convention. Lots of companies used to put plaques or special cam covers on the engines they built. Nicholson, Vegantune, Vulcan, Burton, BRM, Holbay.... the list would be endless.

OK, it has become separated from its original engine, but it is a legitimate item from the past. Asking price is another matter, but the item itself has a story to tell.
