Nice work there JB!!! That’s a lot of great effort / love right there. [emoji106][emoji106]

I know the phone doesn’t do it justice but that sound !!!! Love it.

Would be interesting to see how she flies under load and the difference compared with your old setup.
It's certainly a lot of time and effort! Having said that, @johnymd would have done it in a day [emoji6]

Talking about the sound - it has a 'whiring/wining' noise when revved. Have you got a supercharger hiding in the engine bay?

My secret revealed :)

Actually, no - it's the Kameari twin idler chain tensioner that makes that sound.

The last few days I've been driving around using Autotune. It's pretty damn good. Makes me feel like a pro engine tuner!

However getting a Bluetooth connection to the laptop in the car has been a bit of a trial. I've now got the ecu taped to the wing with the Bluetooth unit waving around outside. I must look like a pro too.

My mapping work has got it to a decent place - fueling seems good pretty much everywhere. Cold start still needs some work though.
For the record, here's a list of everything that is involved.

Speeduino 0.4.3c from diy-efi.co.uk. About £200 all up.
FAJS 45mm ITBs and TPS. £550 from https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/114026270579
Metal to make linkage £20.
Trigger wheel from triggerwheels.com, welded to the back of my Kameari pulley. £50
Ford zetec VR crank sensor £25
Sensor mounting bracket from triggerwheels.com £20
Prosport Wb02 kit. £200. I already had it. If starting again I'd go for a spartan.
Cosworth CLT sensor. £15 ebay. Fits straight in the thermostat housing.
Interpart non descript IAT sensor £15 eBay.
Used vauxhall v6 coil pack £25
Bosch 211 igniter clone £25
Swirl pot £15 from ebay.
Pierburg diesel fuel pump off my bmw! Available from ebay, £30
Aeromotive bypass FPR £120 (years ago)
Wire, plugs and tools £100.
Tunerstudio and megalog viewer £80.
Fuel while tuning £120

Also, dcoe pattern manifold and airbox that I already had. Another 450?

So all in, I make that about £2100.

Oh, and 2 used sets of Focus ST170 injectors. £50.

Speaking of which, on Saturday I found in my logs that I was hitting the configured injector duty limit of 85%. I upped the limit to 87 yesterday and retuned it. But I may have to buy slightly bigger injectors at some point.

Great list! And very useful for my build as I may well take the same route.

Great list thanks Jon , its good to see it all laid out like that, I keep playing with the idea of ITB's and if you already have triple's its a bit cheaper because you all ready have the manifold etc and could sell the carbs to put towards everything else.

I may start collecting bits ,

I have to say, although my Dellortos were working great when I took them off, the process of tuning the EFI was massively quicker and cheaper than getting the Dellortos working well. Getting the carbs right was probably a 2 year process whereas the EFI has been about 2 weeks.

Recommended on EFI set ups. Slosh in the tank can cause issues but you do have a swirl pot too so probably negates it somewhat.

I thought that a standard 240Z tank was fine if it had a swirl pot and you enlarged the return line. Is there anything else? That's what I'm working toward but it's a long way from working so can't comment definitively.
