Z32 project

StrosecZ32

New Forum User
Some years back I was an active club member with a Z32 you can look me up in the drag records group 5 Robert Smith. This car has stood indoors since I last used it 6/7 years back. It is a strosec wide body LWB TT with no rot all the aftermarket performance bits you can imagine are on it. The only problem is the engine needs a rebuild but I do have another block and a set of new pistons. I don't want it to be stripped for bits as it is way too good for that so looking to find an enthusiast to buy it. I just need the space it is taking up so PM me if interested in taking a look thanks Rob MyCar.jpg

Hello Rob, good to hear from you. I've been in this car around Mallory and it was quick.

12.45 1/4 mile!

Rob is a 'sound' guy.

That would be me :)..

Thank you so much Rob for all your help, advice and enthusiasm, it's been a real pleasure to meet you. Doubtless we will chat in the future and I will keep you abreast of progress. I'm so keen also to follow you on the camper conversion, amazing stuff!

This is my first venture into such a car. There's a lot for me to learn, but I'm up for the challenge :).. I have always loved the later ZX, I love its lines and sweeping dash. Coupled with it being a Targa, well, that's just perfect! :).. I'm not a huge fan of body kits, but this just works for me, I love it... :)..

So, I have two projects to complete in the coming year. One to finish Christine (78 RHD 260z), the engine is complete and I'm starting on striping running gear in the next few weeks, and two, the engine rebuild on the ZX which is yet to find its name. TBH, this is a real treat for me having gone trough a difficult year, I'm just so excited at the thought of continuing a labour of love and ultimately stepping on that pedal.. :EXTRAeek: ... I plan also to surprise my wife with a track day, having watched many YouTube videos lol..

Thanks again Rob..

The strange thing about this is that I knew the car, put Tim and Rob S in contact and car bought. This follows me originally knowing Rob R's (RIDDLER) car and putting Tim in contact with him and 260 bought. It's all Robs!
