Diff oil

Just had my R200 diff rebuilt with a new quaife lsd installed. Checked the quaife website to see if there was a specific oil needed and it says use the manufactures spec oil. What is the oil spec needed to fill it back up?

Lots of people say Redline, but I'm not sure that's not the result of marketing!
I've got castrol syntrans in mine.

A place in Worcestershire called GearTech. I dropped my diff off at a local garage and they came down, picked it up, rebuilt it, and then dropped it back off at the garage. I sent the diff off with all new Nissan bearings and seals along with the quaife LSD. Total cost was £350

I’ve been considering this for a very long time. It’s on hold at the moment but I’m collecting info on experiences and garages capable of doing it.

Would be very interested to hear how the car feels once you have it all in the car.

I’ll let you know when it’s in and running. I’ll be getting the diff mounted next weekend then it’s a waiting game on having the prop made
