Hi guys,
So finally after being messed about by a restoration company and being told to wait at least 12 months before they can take the car by others. The strip down has begun!
Here are some pictures from the last few days, I’m hoping to update this with more pictures as it progresses.

Well, that escalated quickly ... ! Top work. What are the plans? The cowhide is dead. Love live the cowhide.
Indeed the cowhide is dead :D
Still on the fence about what engine to go for. Was planning a RB26 with big power but after speaking to forum members have decided to keep the power around 500-550hp.
Having a look at what it takes a RB26 to get to that power ie internals and reliability issues, I’m considering going LS3 V8 supercharged create engine. Love both the V8 and supercharger sounds so this might the best option as it’s a brand new engine which doesn’t need moding.

Agreed. LS wins this contest on both reliability and affordability parameters

It’s a tough choice as my brain says go with the RB as it will be more desirable to future owners and purists. Yet my heart longs for the sound of a V8 and the whine of a supercharger

I wouldn’t worry about it, ‘purists’ would want an l series, the rb has been done a thousand times, So just do what makes you happy.

we all know superchargers are cooler than turbos

I like those seats but with a black dashboard.

Go for the crated V8 - great noise and power, no messing, no heartache - known expense !
