Hello.

Club Datsun-France is preparing for this prestigeous and enormous biennial event, the dates for which have been set as Thursday 2nd July – Sunday 5th inclusive.

We aim to continue the 50years theme and to improve upon the 2018 attendance of 50x cars, so we’re counting upon you all to come together to celebrate and share a great moment against the fabulous old-school atmosphere of Le Mans !

In order to benefit from the preferential club stand, discounted tickets and no booking stress for you, I as usual on behalf of our club, will be organising the Datsun/Nissan ticket bookings direct with Peter Auto including camping accommodation via the ACO !

It’s not too early to book for track sessions, accomodation and a place on the stand !

I invite you to contact me at : seanz@wanadoo.fr for a more complete information package including estimated* prices.

*we’re awaiting the official figures.

Kind regards,

Sean

Président, Club Datsun-France

Yes, as far as I'm concerned I've only had your confirmed order for tickets Paul....the others haven't contacted me.

Christian - go where and with whom you like mate - there're already other Brits booked with us on the circuit and the chance to meet other European Zedders but as Paul says, a different atmosphere.

Do you have famine snacks to go with the drought beer?

Just more upmarket for us sophisticated persons

For 'sophisticated' read ailing old-folk who crave comfort and convenience above experience and meeting the continental natives........how did we ever win an empire ?

It required everyone else to be armed with sticks and us to have guns.
I don't think it had much to do with a love of camping.

Hi John.

I need to know for each person :

how many entrance tickets
With or without paddock access
How many cars and which model (s)
Track passes :Yes or no, Friday or Saturday
Circuit camping or not

Any other requirements - grandstand seats, modern-car exterior parking

Same goes for your renegade mates Paul please although for Tim, I can understand he's not sure - I'll reserve him the full entranc ticket and if worst comes to the worst (which I sincerely hope not) I'll be able to sell the ticket on.

I need tio know now to plan the initial ticket order for which I must pay in early November.

A small eye-opener : 40x combined entrance tickets and 5x track-day passes will cost the best part of €4k of which I must advance 30% (€1300).

Listed in the attached and copied here too :

Ticket prices.

I have no confirmed details yet so I’ve taken the 2018 tarifs and added 5% :

ACO camping next to the circuit : €110 for Thursday ‘til Sunday inclusive (toilets and showers are regularly cleaned throughout the event, plenty of hot water) Most of us group here for communal Barbeques and peaceful breakfasts after the previous nights’ consumption of ‘mineral water’ ! Bring your chairs (and a table even if small, if possible).

Entrance and paddock access : €72 This is a great deal and allows you right up to sniff the chrome polish and lick the Castrol ‘R’ – it’s a very modest extra amount to get close to the cars, teams and drivers. Entrance for children under 16 is free – proof of minority age maybe required !

Entrance only : €55 Entrance for children under 16 is free – proof of minority age maybe required !

There are Grandstand seats available as ticket-packages too (paddock access is included with no option of w/out) and these tend to sell out very quickly :

Wolleck 101

Stand 112

Chinetti 133

Dunlop 133

Panorama 133

La Chapelle 133

Modern car-parking : €20 For those sad people who have no Zs but still want free drinks Saturday

Track sessions : €190 Typically, it’s 2 laps so entering via the Ford Chicane, twice around and leaving just after the Dunlop bridge. Always behind a pace-car although there is a knack to get some spirited driving in on some sections but be advised, the ‘grid’ is mixed…meaning slow cars, slow drivers and some complete idots. Fun to do and video at least once but don’t expect to break the sound-barrier down the Hunaudières Straight ! What ? Mulsanne – no, go away and do your homework !
