"The vehicle was dismantled and rebuilt except for the last screw......Domestic equipments:"

Lovely silver screws on the black-painted sill plates.
Full dash cover
Tired glove-box lid and plastic trim below
Cheap leather-trim kit on the steering wheel
Rubber peeling off the rear bumper

Well, at least it's not blue.....

What's wrong with blue?
I'm just about to paint a 260Z and although colour yet to be decided, light blue metallic is currently ahead in the thinking.
Does anyone know the difference between 305 light blue metallic and 510 sky blue?

So what colour would you paint a 260Z?
Can't be yellow or any of the other lairy colours seen on a 240Z, always think of the 260Z as the more mature older brother
A blank canvas really which means too much choice and I'm in analysis paralysis territory.
Will be for re-sale, so that is a consideration, probably best to play it safe and stick with an original Nissan colour.

However, I do like opalescent silver blue metallic, a period Jag colour that looks superb on an E Type, would that translate well onto a Z?
Think it may do....

Back on topic, standard of work looks good on that German car but some of it not to my taste and the price is way too high for a 280Z. Much better value cars including 240Z for less money on the market at the moment.

Flocked ? You sure Pete - why mix 'n mis-match ?

Tunnel ? https://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C1152851

Chris, having an OEM Nissan colour won't help any sale unless perhaps it's the factory colour for that car....and then !

I've spent up to 6 months choosing a colour but decided upon my latest in more like 5 minutes -we'll see.

Just bored over here seeing blue and having a poke at Franky.:D

I'm pretty sure the '76 280Z was supposed to use three different ratings of fusible links.
That's assuming they are fusible links and not just random pieces of wire.
