I don't know but heavier than an L Series. I just like the idea of a 4.2 twin cam straight 6 on carbs giving 265 bhp and bags of torque. No complicated electronic or turbo. It would be better if it was a Nissan engine though.

the 4.2 is nice but that much weight.... closest is going to be an RB on carbs but you know that

I have this in the barn next to a Z which is not running at the moment :D There's a thought.
1969 420G with full house E Type engine, 265bhp on triples, yep, it weights almost double the L24 but all those extra horses.....
The Guvnor, a proper motor.

I prefer the idea of my L31 giving the same power and torque. If you want hairy horsepower, go fit a Tuscan 3.9.

It would be fine Sean - mounted in the rear.

Think how much luggage space you would gain under the bonnet ...............o_O

I'd rather buy a boxter to be honest. I'm not lacking luggage space in my 240Z.
