OK with fresh determination to get my car sorted for next year's Donington - I need some headlights. The whole lot, bulbs, reflectors, relay harnesses etc.

Any recommendations?

I done my rewiring myself buying seperate bits as required, so can't comment on the wiring kits.

Headlights, depends if your staying more OEM or more modern led etc, searching for 7" headlight on ebay brings up plenty of choice.

Did you see John Palmers lights in his grey car?

I would suggest tho, if you want it to look more standard but with better light output, buy units that have a modern rear reflector with plain glass, as the genuine originals with the lense/focusing aspect on the glass with a plain reflector can't hold a candle, pun intended to the alternate ones!

But are these any good for RHD?

On the other lights they offer they have a LHD/RHD option to select before you buy. Can’t seem to see it on that particular model, but as the rest have the option I would assume they did. Would double check before committing to the order though

Sorry to dig this thread up but thought it was worth asking on here rather than starting a new thread.

Has anyone used the Raybrig 7" headlights? I like the look of them but wondered if anyone has any first hand experience?

Not sure on that specific one but I found these videos helpful when choosing lights.

Quote "i hope you learnt something" indeed, i learnt cheap led lights are crap, personally i thought most would look shite on a Z anyway, and Americans will take any opportunity to get a high powered gun out and shoot something!

I went for Valeo ones (branded Cibie) in the end but they now seem to be out of stock everywhere.

That top video is pretty good but also quite amusing. It's a very literal shoot-out.

Yeah they're very American but the always go in depth into their reviews. There is also indivual reviews for each lamp on separate videos.

Yeah it's a good review in fairness and the bottom line is you get what you pay for. The worrying thing is that some of those lights are absolutely shockingly bad when it comes to visibility! What lights did you go for out of interest?

Undecided as of yet but I'm leaning towards the JW Speakers. Not sure if it's going to be too modern a looking unit though.

I think that's my biggest concern as well. I want modern technology but I want to retain classic looks.

These are the Raybrig ones I talked about earlier:
